Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register?
Registration will be available online. However, if you wish to take advantage of the early registration rate, you must register online by June 15, 2018. The early registration rate is $200. The registration fee will increase substantially after June 15. Click here to register.
What's included in the registration fee?
When you register for National Convention, you get full access to the Convention program and can attend all educational sessions, social activities, and the Annual Meeting. Additionally, the fee includes hotel accommodations (rooms accommodate up to four Siblings).
I'm local and don't need to stay at the hotel. Is there a different registration rate available?
No! Because all activities will be taking place at the hotel site, there will not be an option for non-hotel. All Siblings are asked to pay the full rate. However, it is important to remember that Convention is more than just a series of events that you pick and choose from. Moreover, Convention is an experience from start to finish. Some of the best bonding and memories happen after our day time programming.
I'm traveling by bus/plane/train, is there an easy way for me to get to the site?
Luckily for you, siblings have generously volunteered to shuttle out-of-town guests between the hotel site and local transportation hubs in Philadelphia. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please notify the National Board by October 31st. Additionally, Lyft and Uber are easily accessible in the city of Philadelphia to shuttle you from one location to the next.
What if I register late?
The regular registration deadline is September 15. After this date, we will not be able to guarantee that we will be able to adequately accommodate you. Register early to be sure that you can be included in all activities and giveaways.
I can't seem to find my badge, can I attend without it?
A badge is required for admission to the Annual Meeting. If you have misplaced your badge, you can order a replacement badge online and pick it up at Convention. Replacement badges are $50.
How much will I spend during Convention?
We have arranged Convention so that the registration fee is an all-inclusive package. If you come to Convention without any additional money, you will be fine. However, if you want to purchase personal beverages/food, souvenirs, or participate in activities outside of the Convention schedule, you will need to bring money to cover those additional costs.
Does my chapter/associate chapter need to send a delegate? What if no one wants to go?
As per the National Bylaws, each active chapter/associate chapter must send two delegates (voting and alternate) to Convention annually. The delegate rate is $200 per delegate regardless of registration date. Failure to seat an appropriate number of delegates will result in the chapter/associate chapter being fined $500.
